
To be an effective Air Traffic Controller, you must be able to quickly identify the direction of flight for each aircraft in your airspace, including:
- Opposite direction traffic
- Same direction traffic
- Crossing and converging traffic
By placing red direction arrows on flight progress strips, you can efficiently identify these situations. In this exercise you will apply your knowledge of the map to determine the direction each plane is, or will be flying.
